mouse poo, followed by driving
Saturday I helped Bill drag cheap luan and mouse infested pink insulation out from udner his family room, so it could get insulated more and better. He spent most of the time underneath the thing, and I just dragged stuff around, piled things up and took nails out of things.
Sunday I started at one corner of the kitchen in Red Kate's Mouse Palace and just started scrubbing all the things. I started at the top left corner in some cabinets and swabbed out dust, grit, wierd stains and, yes, some mouse poo. One wall of kitchen is usable, and it includes the stove and the dish washer.
monday I put art in the car and drove to Ipswich, which is two and a half hours from here no matter how fast my mother thinks I drive. And then we had to keep traveling to find an uninspired lunch, which added more driving. Two places were closed for Monday. I am not allowed to have clam chowder on Monday? bummer.
Great Kate kindly met me for coffee and a cinnamon roll, and since I had no patience with the line she shared hers with me. And we walked a little in the parking lot, and I have many pictures of leaves because I am temporarily obsessed with oak leaves. I want to make them REALLY REALLY BIG. Except they cost a lot to print that big, but.
Today I have not moved off the couch. I have been streaming Sing Off, which is competing acapella groups and more varied than I expected. I got into it from Pentatonix whose work i adore. So far I have eaten 9 mini nestles' crisp bars and one apple. Oh, and I voted. #155 in Ward 3B.
