migraine weather
Dunno what it is about high pressure but whoa is it hard on my head. I twas increasing all week, it felt like, and I have munched through 4 of 9 pills issued last Sunday, two yesterday because it was pretty much awful. al and I went to see old friends and I attempted to shake the headache by sleeping in the car and that didn't work, and then staggered in their door and burst into tears and was put to bed there. That did help. Al visited while I rebooted, and after 2 hours of sleep, four pieces of toast and two cups of coffee i felt nearly human again. And then we drove home.
Last week seemed to be composed entirely of talking to people about other people, mostly. it was endless gossip disguised as care, or maybe it was care composed of gossip. At at the end of the week i handed a pile of it off to the school counselor, and was pleased to walk away.
Knitting! I have been doing some of it! while watching Dark Matter. If you have feelings or thoughts about Dark Matter please to tell me because I am not at all sure how I feel about it. Not entirely enthused? There are not enough women, and you can tell instantly what is going to be romantic, but the Android woman is hilarious, and blue haired girl is interesting, and Number Two is NOT Aeryn Sun and Number One is NOT Chrichton, and I miss those guys. Also there are not enough aliens. There should be WAAAY more aliens. And people with weird crap on their heads and faces, and people that are muppety in the joints.
Today was all about sleep and working on Aerin's costume which because of mad forethought on her part is going very nicely. I finished the hakama pants and they are excellent. viz:
Bless the child - I showed her this picture and she laughed and laughed and said she ALWAYS makes goofy faces when photographed and then she didn't require me to retake the picture. So. next is the armor. She has fake leather that we will probably attach to heavy interfacing to make it leatherier, and then stitch a little and add grommets and laces.
