married half my life today - 26 years. We stood on a hillside in NH with the bright sun shining and the wild west wind blowing the cobwebs out of our heads (and beating some of the 200 balloons to death on the fence posts) in a summer where it rained Every. Weekend. All. Summer. So we got married on a Monday. Surrounded by friends, supported and loved. It was pretty terrific. I've had a couple days that good.

And I would absolutely do it again. It was one of the three best things I've ever done; Al, Alice, Aerin... Aral had it right, all true wealth is biological. And really the wealthiest is social as well, isn't it?
