it looks like dad will go from (small, local) hospital there to (equally small, local) hospital here, and then be transferred to rehab here. The biggest issue is pain management. He overloaded and fainted and that landed him back in the hospital yesterday. once they had him doped to the eyebrows he was singing Gilbert and Sullivan to the staff and Lucia was less afraid she was going to lose him that day.

I managed to
ride a horse
deliver a pile of books
deliver a (clean by golly) saddle pad
visit briefly at XF
talk to my mother and tell her all I knew, and keep her from feeling left out, even though she is, yanno, left out on account of how she divorced him 26 years ago.
fetch children, deliver others, retrieve mine
stop by the library
deliver child to fencing (while remembering the checkbook)
leave supper made for returning family
hang a show of work at a local cafe
return home and get clean (amen)
make the last April circle

OK, no wonder it feels like a full day
