Rode the red horse inside, practicing turning from my core. urgh. partly successful. It keeps me from hanging on her mouth, which is good for both of us.
I asked the new girl if she's like to ride her on Saturday when I am taking Alice to MIT for a crazy day of classes, and realized I'd asked a professional if she'd school my horse rather than asking a friend if she'd like to ride in the woods... So I probably won't do that again.
Rode the gray horse outside, and he was a perfect gentleman in the face of the giant smelly garbage truck, a weird trail crawler the fire dept used to get up to the fire tower on the mountain, and later loading said crawler onto a trailer. I think that might have mede it seem more familiar - horses go on trailers too, so it must be kind of related.
Alice is very faintly under the weather. I can't decide if it might be allergies, or illness or just eating weird things or having the weather changing too fast. Or sleeping issues. I can ALWAYS blame sleeping issues. Especially if they have to do with not being cold enough to fall asleep and stay asleep without nightmares. (My mother said, and I have found it routinely true for me, that nightmares meant I was too hot, rather than anything else, and I should peel a blanket and wake All The Way Up and cool off until I had goosebumps and then fall asleep again. Which aside from a couple ugly stress dreams, has proved to work like a champ.)
and lastly, a circle. I am particularly pleased with this one.
