Lesson this morning, better than usual. Found some sticky points, worked to improve them, have exercises to pursue for the week, will recheck next Friday.
I've been thinking about parts of bodies that are overwhelmingly pink, or pink&something. If I can wrestle control of the fabric away from the felting machine, I'll try depicting something more realistic. Right now I'm still doing the equivalent of "hello world" which, while absorbing for me, may not be so exciting to watch.

This is wool, silk thread scraps, silk fabric, and some tiny amount of cotton fabric felted to a commercial polyester felt base. It was nicer felting it than I remembered, and the resulting fabric is more stable than I expected. Tomorrow I'll try some woven wool for a base, as well as the same wool fulled (basically felting yardage of woven cloth, to compact it) in the washing machine, and eventually I'll see if I can work with no base at all.
