cold cold cold night, cold morning, nice in the sun. Which is all well and good, except the pine woods are Not in the sun, and even in my Muck boots my toes froze. I hadn't needed winter boots until this winter. Now my regular boots won't zip over the winter britches+long underwear combo. Maybe I do need some. Cozy would be kind of nice. Of course, once I stood in the sun while Kaboose foraged, I got better. Kaboose was perfect - rational, calm, good at leading the (slightly worried) younger horse and good at letting him test his courage in the lead. Still. Wicked cold toes.

Returned to realize I have to finish the Sketchbook Project quick because I have to mail it before Jan 31. And I kind of have to figure out how to hold these folios of fabric in the cover provided. The back cover has to remain completely the same. The front cover can be modified a little. I was thinking of a coptic stitched binding, which would be beautiful, but I don't know if I am allowed to really modify the spine.

Alice made chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting and raspberry goop in the middle. It is fabulous.

I don't know why this circle is so bulgy. It might be the camera angle, or it might be the circle.
