Went with Red Kate to get her paddle in Newton, had lunch at Legal Seafoods for two kinds of oysters, cherrystones, smoked salmon and one perfect and sublime crab cake, and then (because we still had time) we sent to see Anatsui again. It was awesome again. Showing it to someone else made me see it differently.

I just spent some quality time zooming the embellisher/needle felting machine around over some fabric combinations and got these that I rather like. I'll sew things together tomorrow. After staring at the way he connects the metal pieces, I think less thread is required, and less stitching.
