I am ashamed.
I do not like gardening.
The planting is moderately amusing, but weeding? Waaay too much like housework. I do not like guessing about what I do and don't want, and ripping out things that are flourishing. I hate having to dislike plants, even if they are weeds. I do not like working bending over. I do not like dirt under my fingernails (although I love clay, go figure). I do not like watering. I take too little pleasure in the look of it to bother with the effort.
Growing stuff to eat does not do it for me either.
Either the bugs get it, or get me. Or the wild animals get stuff the day before it ripens. It encourages the raccoons and the skunks. No one else in my family eats vegetables.
It makes me too hot, and too grumpy to be worth the effort.
I am thinking I may research someone to deal with the front garden, because I am So Fucking Done.
Does this make me a bad person? Or just a non-gardening person?
